On November 9, Abigail Parente, Senior Legal Recruiter at Exclusively Legal, will be among the employment panelists for a University of San Diego internship course. The panel will feature four total speakers, including a representative from the government and a newly employed graduate of USD. Each panelist will be given 20 or so minutes to speak, followed by a question and answer period.
The panel will address topics such as:
- The staffing agency process (application, interview, hiring process, etc.)
- Benefits to the respective agencies
- Examples of interview questions & how to prepare for them
- Traits and characteristics looked for in a candidate
- State of the current job market & the outlook for new job opportunities
- Tips on interviewing, resumes, and more
